3D printing has a lot of purposes and even more opportunities. It operates in sectors such as industry, automotive, medicine, architecture as well as in advertising and marketing. What grows along with possibilities of 3D printers is a number of users and orders for printings. For every project ordered with us, we make every effort to accomplish it perfectly. On the grounds of a project received from the person ordering, our experts prepare the model that is being printed in the next step.

Creating two mockups of a wine cellar ordered by Dlawina.pl company, was one of those projects. The company is engaged in consulting, designing and implementation of arrangement of wine cellars for private individuals. The purpose of the project was to create mockups presenting a wine cellar design with its details - bottles on the shelves of the cellar, with the help of additive technology. Our actions were to fully recreate the mockups, which consisted of creating each element of the mockup separately. The main aspect is a visualisation of a real appearance and layout of the wine cellar. 3D model will enable presenting it on every kind of industry events, and solid construction ensure its durability as well as resistance to mechanical damage.

Mockups have perfectly recreated details, and its size are 44 x 58,5 x 32 cm and 43 x 28 x 21 cm. When creating it, we cared about the high quality of printing and an excellent fit between individual parts. Every element of the mockup was printed in ATMAT Signal printers working in FDM technology with the use of Fiberwood filament - material that enables creating wood-like printings as well as in PLA materials. Bigger elements were printed with the use of 0.8 mm tip holder, and the smallest details, just like bottles, were created with help of PET-G transparent material in transparent ruby and green colour with the use of 0.2 mm tip holder. Its height was 3 cm.

Work on creating the mockups started with creating sketches of contours of the shelves so that complete clumps could be created next. When all of the elements were printed, it was possible to go ahead with assembly and bonding. The very last stage of mockups building was a LED lighting assembly, that allowed a moody backlight inside of each shelf. Time of the mockups print was consecutively 147 hours and 100 hours, and the material used was toted up to 1939 and 1051 metres!  Final effects are impressive and attract attention.
